Green Means We Care About Our Natural Environment
At Colonial Subaru we care about our community and our environment. We’re doing our part to help out by implementing resource saving technologies into our everyday operations. So far our biggest investments in a more environmentally friendly business have been:
- Recycling of Wash bay water.
- Recycling of Used Oil for heating.
Recycling of Wash Bay Water
We hand wash every vehicle that comes in for service. While washing we capture all the run off water and recycle it through three different filter systems. The water used for washing the cars does not enter into the grounds of the property.
Recycling of Used Oil for Heating
When oil and filter changes are performed we store all the used oil materials collected from the car. That used oil is then burned for heating Colonial Subaru dealership throughout the winter.
Moving Forward
At Colonial Subaru we’re continuing to look into new ways that we can help the environment through better and safer business practices. We’re happy to be part of the community and embrace the responsibilities of our future here in Kingston, NY.
