Certified Program

Subaru Certified Pre-Owned

Overview

The Subaru Certified Pre-Owned program involves a thorough 152-point inspection to ensure that each Subaru car will be at is optimal performance for the next buyer. Each receives a CARFAX History Report for the future buyer to have. Colonial Subaru also works to repair any mechanical issues found during the 152-point inspection. These Certified Pre-Owned cars receive a Subaru extended vehicle service agreement and roadside assistance protection.

Only Subaru cars from the current or past five years with under 80,000 miles are put through the rigorous 152-point inspection. In order to be added into the certified program, Subaru cars are reconditioned, repaired or have broken parts replaced.

Subaru Certification

Every Certified Pre-Owned Subaru must be in superior condition and pass the 152-point inspection. Every significant component of the Subaru vehicle is scrutinized, including:

  • Vehicle title records
  • Major and minor powertrain components
  • Chassis, suspension and steering
  • Interior condition and feature functions
  • Exterior panel and paint condition
  • Complete road test

Upon successful completion, the vehicle receives a Subaru Certificate of Inspection authenticating its qualification. Only then can it be admitted into the Subaru Certified Pre-Owned Program.
