600 × 400

Offering an outstanding combination of practicality, capability, and value, the Subaru Crosstrek delivers versatile utility in an easy-to-maneuver compact form factor. Plus, with standard all-wheel-drive and 8.7 inches of ground clearance, this adventurous crossover is more than ready to take the road less traveled. A hit with critics and consumers alike, the Crosstrek is well-equipped across its trim levels, with Subaru's EyeSight Driver Assist Technology included as standard equipment on all models with the continuously variable automatic transmission.

New Sport Trim and More Powerful Engine

There's already lots to love about the Crosstrek, but Subaru of America has given us even more reasons to get excited about the upcoming 2021 model. While Crosstrek Base and Premium trims continue with the responsive and efficient 2.5-liter BOXER engine (152 horsepower, 145 pound-feet of torque), the two upper trim levels will receive a significant performance boost. The newly-added Sport trim and top-of-the-line Limited trim find their motivation in a new 2.5-liter BOXER powerplant. First introduced on the 2019 Forester, the 2.5-liter engine generates 182 horsepower and 176 pound-feet of torque.

The new Sport trim also includes the dual-function X-MODE® system with hill descent control and selectable settings to optimize all-wheel-drive performance for snow, dirt, mud, and other weather and road conditions. Crosstrek Sport models will also see several unique aesthetic enhancements, including dark-gray-finished 17-inch alloy wheels, and gunmetal finishing for the grille, mirrors, and badges. On the inside, the Sport trim features StarTex™ simulated leather upholstery and surface coverings with attractive yellow accent stitching.
